A little about Eileen

Hi and welcome to Feeding Everyone Dinner- a blog devoted to whole-food, plant-based eating.  I am passionate about cooking and sharing my knowledge through cooking classes, lectures, recipe development and individual consulting.  My goal is to inspire you to cook more at home for yourself, your family and your friends.

My roots go back to the Maritimes, to a dairy farm and fishing family  on PEI.  Those formative years were spent in the garden, … gatherings for tea,… and working outside and in the kitchen.  The love of hospitality and cooking learned in those years lead her to a career in food.  From cooking in remote camps on wood stoves making quality food in tough conditions for rugged work crews, to preparing fine food for exclusive clientele in British Columbia’s world renowned mountain lodges, she has honed her skills and diverse food repertoire.   This unique experience, as well as her attention to quality is reflected in her meals.

Today she is known for her hospitality and expertise in food preparation, focused on local, ethically-sourced, and quality ingredients.  She shares her love of all things food through a variety of social venues and cooking classes, as well as through making fine food for friends.  She lives on a farm outside of Salmon Arm, British Columbia (with her husband and border collie Pearl, where the coffee is always on.
